The title of my last blogpost (New in #1) already indicated that I purchased a few more products other than the nail polishes I talked about already! Here we go: I also got my favourite drugstore hairspray and some organic food but -don’t you worry- this is non-relevant to this post! :)

I stopped by the MAC counter because I decided to finally invest in some MAC goodies again. I knew that I definitely wanted to re-purchase the MAC FIX + because my bottle of this fantastic stuffff is nearly running out. Well, I’ll let you know a little fact about me here: I get nervous shortly before I run out of products I really really like. And by that I mean that I am panicky and mostly even stop using this particular product until I am re-stocked. That is why I say that my current MAC FIX + is almost used up but in reality my panicky self told me and it will probably last me another 3 weeks. This stuff is just lasting. Here I mean the actual bottle lasts a looong time and the product gives my Make-up just the nicest finish! :) Great for a little moisturizing touch-up during the day also! Even though MAC products seem too pricey to some people – I would always recommend them because they are just perfectly long-lasting (and actually have one of the greatest Make-up range out there). Okay, stop! ‘Ode to MAC Cosmetics’ – haha.

Keep it short and simple, Jennifer, please. I re-purchased the MAC FIX + !

‘An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!’ MAC Cosmetics UK

The second product took a little longer and I had to deal with one of them ladies that just really annoyed me actually. Do you know that feeling? That you NEED this person (in this case to find the right shade) but actually you do not want to talk to that person because she is just too … I can’t find the word. She has just been to much to handle for me at that point. After a while we figured out my shade NC25 and I left the store happy after all – just a little upset after realizing the amount I spent there. I got the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. I can not wait to use this product!

‘Studio Fix is a powder and foundation in one that combines good coverage with ease of application. Designed to be used dry, the powder and pigments create a matte, velvety texture. It contains Silica, which helps to maintain a matte finish by absorbing oils on the skin, as well as Talc to provide a smoother, less reflective, matte finish. The talc has been milled to a microscopic size to provide a beautiful texture while allowing the skin to breathe. It is available in a wide range of colours. It can be applied with a brush, sponge, or a powder puff.’ MAC Cosmetics UK

And again- why is Make-up so much cheaper in the UK?! :( What are your favourite MAC products (in case you are using any)? My wishlist is growing daily!

As usual: Say hi via InstagramTwitter and bloglovin if you get the chance. Would make my day! :)

Have a lovely evening, Jennifer xxx

Hello everyone, it is Wednesday already – whoop! Hoping you are having a lovely week. Yesterday I did a bit of shopping and thought I would share my finds with you. I will start with the latest nail polishes I found at my local drugstore. Essence and Catrice (click to see the whole new range!) just recently updated their standard range and I had a stroll around the drugstore to see myself.

1. First one landing in my basket has been the essence effect nail polish ’01 pixie dust’ – a holo shimmery nail polish that is just too pretty! For a swatch scroll down please. :)

2. If you followed me on Instagram you might have seen me raving about the Catrice Crushed Crystals in C04 Oyster & Champagne (previously Lala Berlin loves Catrice Limited Edition) that I purchased shortly after christmas. Little did I know that Catrice integrated the lovely Crushed Crystals (3D effect with sandy finish) into their standard range. The happier I have been when I saw them on the counter and I could not say no to ’03 Shooting Star’. Good choice because I absolutely LOVE this one! For a swatch scroll down please. :)

3. Last but not least I got the essence nail candies beautifying nail polish – 6 in 1 meaning ‘hardening, protecting, ridge filling, fast drying, and fruity scented with a high gloss finish’ . And indeed, this nail polish is scented – not too sure what to think about that because it still has the strong nail polish smell as well. Oh by the way, I purchased ’01 oh lolli lollipop’ ! I think this is a nice nail polish if you do not want to have plain nails (like me – I would never leave the house with plain nails these days).

Did you watch the Grammys last night? I did not because it started at around 2am in my timezone  – which is a time I should be asleep. And I was.  But obviously I needed to check out the dresses second or third thing this morning – just couldn’t help myself. And and and… I just can not get over one dress: Beyoncé just wowed me so much! What did you think?!?

Just one word: flawless!

Okay, okay, there were a few others that looked adorable, too. Few examples:

Do you actually care or better: did you actually care about the Grammy? I personally don’t really care about the prizes. It is just the dresses that attract me. Which one did you like best? Let me know :)
