Tuesday Lifesaver – Girlz Only Dry Shampoo

This post is dedicated to one of the best things out there- at least on a day like this- Dry Shampoo! But why do I love this stuff at times? Let us just see today as THE example on why Dry Shampoo could possibly be seen as the rescuer of my day.

Today, I got up and actually enjoyed a nice sleep in. This means I did not have to get up at 7am to enjoy a nice shower because people will cut off the water supply a bit later. But you know sometimes there are just things that have to be done. On Friday we got informed that they will stop all water supplies for 3 hours in the apartment complex I live in and we must not use any at all during that time. Well, fine, I get up earlier than I have to and have a shower is what I thought to myself. Said, done. But today: I got up, hopped into the shower and what what?! Only COLD water. VERY cold water! Some people might not care. Once I wake up in the morning though I am one of those people who freeze their arse off so I DO CARE. That was probably the quickest shower I ever had! Anywho, now the Dry Shampoo comes into play: THANK GOD!

If the same thing ever happens to you or if you just need a touch up- use it! I know there are people out there that can not get used to it or actually use it (Hi Mom!) but if you are able to- do! My current product(s) of choice is the ‘GIRLZ ONLY’ range. They are affordable and do their job! I purchased them a while ago at fragrancedirect for only 99p (which is only a bit more than a Euro!)/ 150ml.

These do revive my hair between washes just fine and I like the smell! But that is just a personal thing I guess. Today I used ‘Hazy Days‘. Also available in ‘Party Nights‘ and ‘Dawn ’til Dusk‘ – at least these are the other two I own. My mood’s been kinda hazy as well I tell you. But it could only get better! And at least I was fully awake then!  I do not think I need to put up instructions on the usage of Dry Shampoo, do I? Well, just never forget to hold the bottle about 20cm from hair and shake bottle well before usage. And if you are not able to brush out all excess after I like to use my blow dryer to do the job! Works wonders! :)

All time favourite- Balea Trend it up Trockenshampoo

Auch ein Phänomen- aber ein mir verständliches- war vor 4-5 Jahren das Trockenshampoo in Dublin,Irland. (Ich habe dort vor ein paar Jahren für ein paar Jahre gelebt.) Jede führende Marke und auch No-Name Produkte hatten ein Trockenshampoo auf dem Markt. Eine Freundin benutzte dies damals schon sehr gerne, um einen weiteren Tag ohne Haarewaschen zu auszukommen. Seit ich nun wieder in Deutschland bin (2 Jahre ungefähr) fiel mir auch auf, dass hier so einige Marken Trockenshampoos auf den Markt werfen und ich habe einige ausprobiert, da ich gerne dazu neige jeden Tag meine Haare zu waschen, was einfach nicht normal und gut für diese ist.

Hängen geblieben bin ich jedoch bei der Dm Eigenmarke Balea und dem Produkt Trend it up  Spray-on Trockenshampoo. Dieses sprüht man aus Entfernung auf das gut gebürstete Haar, hat dann eine weiße Schicht auf den Haaren, lässt es einwirken, frottiert es mit dem Handtuch durch und dann mit der Bürste auskämmen beziehungsweise falls noch Rückstände zu sehen sind, einmal mit dem Föhn durchpusten. Voilà, bis zu 24 Stunden mehr Frische im Haar verspricht die Dose.

Fazit:Der Duft verstreut von vornherein schon Frische und die Anwendung ist sehr einfach. Die Haare sind danach wie frisch gewaschen, was aber keine 24 Stunden anhält! Zu empfehlen ist das Produkt für den Preis jedoch, wenn man wie ich nicht jeden Tag die Haare waschen möchte, um es mal etwas zu schonen. Und die Angst  einen fettigen Ansatz zu bekommen schwindet- Juhu!

Auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen!
